Louis Grace, Sr. started Grace Engineering Corporation in 1966 for the
specific purpose of servicing the fledgling computer printer industry. His sons Richard,
Louis, and Jeff all entered into the business while the company was quickly expanding
its operations in Memphis, Michigan. In 1977, Grace Engineering built a second facility
in Russeville, Arkansas.
Louis Grace assumed sole ownership of the Michigan plant in 1989. Always maintaining precision manufacturing as its core, the company has become a major supplier to the hydraulic pump shaft, surgical instrument, and character related industries.
